Preparatory work for the new classroom block is in progress, specifically involving the felling of trees to clear the area designated for the building's foundation. Subsequently, the crucial stages of setting out and excavating the foundation trenches will commence.
The toilet block is nearing completion, with only a few minor touch-ups required. However, several tasks still need addressing: securing a more economical painter for the final coats, finishing the internal plastering work, and removing the accumulated rubble from the surrounding area. Despite these remaining items, the children are already enjoying and benefiting from the availability of the new toilet facilities, expressing considerable happiness with this improvement.
The construction team anticipates completing the excavation work by tomorrow, after which they will promptly begin the construction of the classroom block's foundation. We are under a tight timeframe, as we are striving to have the new facilities ready before the schools reopen in two weeks.
Indeed, the deep excavation of a foundation trench has started. The trench has reached a depth of approximately one meter, indicating a significant amount of work, but the progress is satisfactory.
I plan to send a progress video later today. Currently, I am out purchasing 10mm round iron bars, which are required for the foundation's reinforcement.
