From Girl Up to Zimbabwe
Hello! We're the Girl Up club based in John Jay High School, in New York. We're very interested in helping out Friends for Roxanne and we would love to learn more about your group and what we can do to help! Girl Up is a club associated with the United Nations, with intentions of helping groups around the world. Our club advisor is Ms. Munger and her sister helped out Friends for Roxanne many years ago, and we'd love to reconnect with your group and support everyone there.

Thank you so very much for contacting us we are so humbled.We are a group of teachers at Roxanne Junior School working under Friends for Roxanne foundation ,apart from teaching at the school we have several community projects which seek to help women in the community on health and hygiene,Adult literacy classes ,and income generating projects for the women.
We olso have programs for the girl child teaching them on prevention of early child marriages,prevention of HIV and Aids ,and against drug abuse.We have women clubs in different villages.We organise women soccer competitions ,cooking competions.
We have limited resources to fully carry out our activities ,We need some mode of transport to go from village to village to meet our fellow ladies ,we walk by foot to villages about 15km away.We need sanitary ware for young and older women.We need some sawing machines for those who are in school uniform making project.Some computer to professionally document all our activities.
